Postcode Distance Searching

This is a licenced feature requiring IQX setup. The configuration details are here.

This calculates the difference (in a straight line) between 2 postcodes.

• Between the Candidate and the Client postcodes
• From a Search Criteria in Vacancy or Client selector, Search view

In a Vacancy when using the Search button to find suitable Candidates for the Short List the Results view will display a new column showing showing the distance in miles that the candidate is away from the vacancy (using Site Postcode if exists, and Company post code if it doesn’t).

This requires each side to have a valid postcode. If either side is blank or wrongly formatted or not recognised as a real postcode the result is blank.



The Default Vacancy Requirements criteria can be set up to show on all vacancies so that you can restrict results within a certain radius

For Agencies that use shifts, when you are filling shifts there will be a new column showing the distance in miles that the candidate is away from the postcode of the vacancy (using site postcode if exists, or company postcode if not)



It is also possible to search for candidates, whose post code is within a radius of a given postcode



Similarly, you can search for companies where the post code is within a radius of a given postcode
