It is now possible to use SMTP for sending mail merges. This is particularly useful if you are sending high volumes in mail merges as it avoids daily limits set by some email providers and also helps to prevent your outgoing emails from being marked as spam. This is set at user level so can be set for only some users if desired.
This feature requires system administrator setup.
Select All on Multiple Choice Question
Rather than having to select each option individually it is now possible to do a select all on multiple choice questions, Ctrl+Shift+I will select all choices and Ctrl+Shift+U will deselect.
New General Setting: Added a general setting which can be used to make entering Address Line 3 mandatory when registering a new candidate through either the ‘New' or ‘Fast New’ candidate wizard.
To speed up filtering in the shift fill wizard there is now a drop down so you can choose a single column to filter on rather than everything on the view so the data is returned much faster.
Similar to shift notifications it is now possible to send notifications either one per vacancy or one to each client contact with all of their vacancies listed. The same can be done for provisional timesheets.
New merge fields have been created that will pick up on the start and end date of the week you are on not just the current week of the desk meaning you can send notifications for previous and future weeks.
Users can now send speculative CVs to a selection of contacts using notifications. The candidate should be linked from the Mail Merge view of the contact selector and a new option to send CVs to all will be available on the attachment type. System Administrators will need to set up a notification template of type ClientContactLink.
It is now possible to send PDF global documents through the email to send table. Note any non global documents or global documents that are not pdf on the notification template will not be sent.
When setting up a notification template it is now possible to set the contact event summary to be something other than the email subject. On the template press the Contact Event Summary button and choose an option.
External editor buttons have been added on the template and Deep Link views to allow for easier editing for non IQXanywhere agencies. These work in the same way as the external editor buttons on reports and jobs.
When editing HTML templates for notifications it is now possible to increase the font size, particularly useful when making small changes to complex templates. Note the font size only changes when you are viewing the HTML Text
A new notification type of Contact Event has been added to the system so that you can create HTML notification templates and send them from the contact event.
The temp desk shifts view can be personalised by saving the position of the moveable columns. The first 6 columns are fixed and cannot be moved but the others can be rearranged by dragging them to where you want them to be, right click and chose Remember this Layout. It can be reset but selecting Default Layout.
It is now possible to send HTML emails from the Bulk Email button on the person selector. After pressing Bulk Email a dialogue appears asking if you would like to send using HTML or plain text.
If you choose HTML a new window appears where you can use the formatting tools.
There is now the option to create additional reference types in addition to the standard Professional, Personal and Other. This is useful for agencies that want to have a number of very specific reference types. Questions can be assigned to these types by using groupings 5-9 and 500-900.

You can now view any images you add to ‘Email, Web, Report Images’ via a new button. Once opened you can also rotate the image or crop it and changes are saved to the file.
